  1. I travelled with my husband and daughter from Edinburgh to Heathrow Airport taking the bmi
flight. The connecting flight from Heathrow to my country of destination Singapore was at 6.30pm. My flight from Edinburg to Heathrow was to be boarded at 3.15pm.

The bmi flight was delayed till 4.00pm then inside the flight, the plane was further delayed for another easy 45mins!!!
The reason being there is a storm currently swiping through london! We landed in Heathrow airport at 6pm!! We rushed through the terminal like crazy just to know that SIA ( Which i am proud to say is always on the dot to leave and arrive) had their gates closed for take off at 6.20pm when we arrived at the terminal 3!!!

When i asked if the SQ could be informed of the delay … , the stewardess said YES!
The biggest joke here is….., there was no storm in london!
So much for british way of flying experience for my husband who flew to britain for the first time!

We were forced to take a hotel near to the airport as we booked ourselves for the next morning 11.30 am flight. It cost us thousand odd pounds!
I want to know how mitland airlines will answer to this inconvenience caused to us……

  2. I will never fly this airline again. It is a complete scam. This company has lost my luggage. My only conclusion is that they have, in fact, stolen my luggage. They are utterly incompetent and unhelpful. They only deal with lost luggage claims in writing. They have been extremely unhelpful. After doing some research, I discovered that they are the eight worst airline for dealing with luggage. I am a Roman Catholic priest. In my ministry, I take a number of pilgrimages to the Middle East and talk with many tour guides and companies who tour the Middle East. I promise to tell everyone I know: DO NOT FLY BMI!!!. At all costs, flying BMI ought to be avoided.

  3. We left Dublin airport via London, Heathrow on Sunday. When booking in our luggage, we were told that it would be sent onwards to our final destination Omsk in Russia. It never got there so we were left without all our clothes and personal items for the full stay of our visit and on our return to moscow airport yesterday evening after 2 and half hours trying to get somebody to help us we located our luggage but to my dismay our €359.00 leather case had been cut open by the airport secruity. I am extremely hurt and upset with what has happened. We had to buy a suit and dress which we needed for our visit and not one person would help us. I require an explanation immediately for the way we were left with only the clothes we were wearing and now to find our leather case damaged. I am very let down by the treatment we received with regard to your airline not delivering us our case to omsk even though it showed omsk on the sticker that was attached to the handle of the case.

    A very upset passenger!

  4. Yesterday (09.06.2012) my flight with Lufthansa from Dublin to Frankfurt was overbooked. Thus I have to travel via London with your company, flight No. DB 126. I would like to give all compliments to desk service at airport, where very kind and professional employee Alicia was on duty. However this was not the case with her colleague Andrew, who was also on duty for the same flight. This is not a personal attack on him, but he really needs some additional education about how to communicate with customers and how to solve problems, which happen in unusual situations.

I whish you all the best and hope that you will take into account my compliments as well as complaint.
