My wife and l have been saving air miles with skywards for several years to save up enough for a flight. However we now find unlike other airline rewards programmes which extend validity each time you earn extra miles skywards expires them after 3 years irrespective of further miles earned.
This makes the whole programme rubbish as if you only use the airline once or twice a year as we do we would never be able to save enough for a flight. It’s a waste of time being a member

I am a platinum member for the last many years. My status was renewed on 2nd Feb2017 whereas I had to complete the mileage by 31st March. After renewal of my status, the comments said that I needed 225,000 in the next 13 months to renew my status. After recently completing my trip from Lahore- EUROPE- Lahore, the status says that I need another 250,514miles to renew my status. I am totally confused with your policy of keeping up with Platinum status. If you are going to make it impossible to renew platinum status then it would be better that I take my and my company’s business which employs 22,000 people to QATAR or ETIHAD who are making fabulous offers at the moment.
